@vicky-ndjeuga_679449038373084 Why you need the Mac address which is at layer 2 (Data Link). You need the layer 3 which is the logical address (IP). Use the UID to access the camera as illustrated in the link https://support.reolink.com/hc/en-us/articles/11802355581465-Getting-Started-with-E1-ProOnce setup if you need to know the Mac Address then got to Network Menu or if the camera is connected to a switch then check the ARP table.
@crimp-on_62210811129 Mine is working on all the models with the exception of Argus 2 as this is not available. What is not working in relation to push message notification is that when you click on the received push notification (after 5 minutes) it will take you to the live view rather than the recorded clip. This was working on one of the last versions. I cannot really understand.
@vigy_591093180735512 It's available on the top right hand side under Push Notification menu unless you have on old camera.
@zedbyers_87013248426238 It should record to the microSD as stated in link https://support.reolink.com/hc/en-us/articles/360007170094-Can-Reolink-WiFi-Cameras-Work-Without-WiFi-or-Internet-Connection And if you set the private IP of the FTP server (assuming server is on the same network as the cams) in the FTP setting of the camera then it should be transferred too. Whenever there is a mains failure all my battery operated cams continue to record on the microSD. Which cameras do you have? Make sure you have the most updated firmware version.
@user_679443674386625_679443674386625 Try the new firmware.
@mouse_589870794760200 It is under C:\Users\your_username\AppData\Roaming\reolink
@magnust You didn't have the permission. Now you create it under your username. You should checked with the procedure I gave you.
@pernoi_434276731408615 That's the recommended height by most suppliers and that's how I have mounted mine.
@jenebo_470019197218988 You can use WIFI cameras and a 4G router. Try to avoid HSPA (3G) and go for 4G (LTE) or 5G (though these maybe a bit expensive). I tested a 5G router and got a speed of 1.3G bps on an operator packet core network.
@fugu31_677721121648810 This is merely the scene feature with a schedule/calendar. A lot of customers have requested this and indeed it is very useful.
@lars_661084185067625 Best implementation should be based on geofencing rather than shortcuts.
@user_651490629161069_651490629161069 Totally agreed. I have proposed sound detection (AI - with user recorded sounds) for some time now and I am hoping that one day we will see it implemented. I did even proposed other detection types such as fire detection, facial detection and recognition, number plate recognition, glass breaking, crying, package, etc. Moreover this can be enhanced by having VOIP calling to a list of numbers.
@user_678187705987251_678187705987251 So moisture is getting inside the reset button and causing a short which results in firmware cyclic reloads. Protect this too.
@daservices-usa_295488157241547 There is a newer version v3.0.0.1175_22080101. You need to contact Reolink support so that they will assign the new firmware to your UIDs and then you either upgrade them manually or they will be automatically upgraded, depending on your settings.
@magnust Go to the folder and right click. Select properties and click on security tab. Click on Advanced and click change next to your username. Check that you have full control of the folder......if not add it.
@user_620089981972582_620089981972582 On your Android, go to Settings and click on Notifications. Scroll down and click on Notifications (lock Screen). Enable it and check again.
@mouse_589870794760200 Do you see any errors under Windows viewer? Did you upgrade the Video driver? Windows 11 controls the graphics differently than previous version. Can you force the program to run in GPU mode? Systems/display/graphics/optionsCan you try to change the boolean value of hardware acceleration to false in file AppData/Roaming/Reolink/userSettings ............... {"key":"hardware-acceleration","type":"boolean","value":false,"_id":"sSr1ypqwasdaasdip"}?
@steve_72088325675 The power cord matches the colour of the cam body :). As you correctly stated it is impossible to meet ALL the requests from ALL customers.
@carl_329417298338045 So install Cerberus or Filezilla ftp server (which ever you prefer) on your PC and try to upload a clip from the camera and the NVR to your ftp server. In each case try to capture a wireshark trace. Then replace the FTPS settings on the NVR and point them to the FTP cloud server and take a trace (egress) on your router. Compare the traces and see the difference. Error code 453 means insufficient storage at remote end.
RADAR_PRE_LEAK_WOW64 Radar_Pre_Leak is basically Windows memory leak detector. Therefore there is a memory leak when running Reolink client 8.8.5 on your system. What is the RAM size of your PC? Maybe this client requests more mem heaps. Which Windows are you running and did you install any Windows upgrades? I am running the 8.8.5 on Win 10 without similar issues.
