@mdunning_323765759099098 This is a known issue and shall be solved in the next release.
@user_585783633887262_585783633887262 If the camera picks you what else you want :). As I stated the position of the camera is very important and PIRs are activated if the object crossed the sectors.The PIR sensor itself has two slots in it, each slot is made of a special material that is sensitive to IR. The lens used here is not really doing much and so we see that the two slots can 'see' out past some distance (basically the sensitivity of the sensor). When the sensor is idle, both slots detect the same amount of IR, the ambient amount radiated from the room or walls or outdoors. When a warm body like a human or animal passes by, it first intercepts one half of the PIR sensor, which causes a positive differential change between the two halves. When the warm body leaves the sensing area, the reverse happens, whereby the sensor generates a negative differential change. These change pulses are what is detected. So ensure that the object crosses these slots or sectors.
@gihan-lekamwattage_613246463209563 Should be simple. If you are using gmail you need to get the password from the gmail account to avoid authentication and set smtp server=smtp(dot)gmail(dot)com, TLS is ON and port is 465. And voila'.Error 400 - Bad request means that the request the camera sent to the SMTP server was somehow incorrect or corrupted and the server couldn't understand it.
@avishai-c_493181395726498 Email Reolink support and they will help you.
@user_585783633887262_585783633887262 Check this out https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PiYjze13O5s
@user_585783633887262_585783633887262 Ha ha ha............. now you know it. The only source of knowledge is experience.
@user_585783633887262_585783633887262 Finding the correct optimal position for PIR cameras is absolutely critical. Argus 2 PT is not included in the download center as there may be different variants. So I suggest you to email Reolink support and quote your HW. You shall get a reply within two days.
@user_585783633887262_585783633887262 The WIFI frequency band has nothing to do with the detection range. This merely depends on the PIR and its settings. As I stated in a previous reply, walking across the detection area of a PIR detector results in a rapid detection because multiple sectors are crossed quickly triggering the detector. Walking towards the sensing area of a PIR detector may result in later detection as it is possible to walk towards the PIR sectors without crossing them (which is required for detection). I think the max detection range of the PIR installed on the Argus 2 PT is about 33 feet when the sensitivity is set between 85 and 100.
@user_585783633887262_585783633887262 Sure. Just change false to true. If the applications runs then you can change it through the client general options menu. Normally the first option is used if the screen goes black immediately.
@villonesm_80414159839437 Please note that1. Walking towards the sensing area of a PIR detector may result in later detection as it is possible to walk towards the PIR sectors without crossing them (which is required for detection).
2. Walking across the detection area of a PIR detector results in a rapid detection because multiple sectors are crossed quickly triggering the detector.
Ĺ@user_617650665832448_617650665832448 Duo 2 offers a FOV of 170 deg horizontally and 70 deg vertically while Duo has a fov of 150 deg horizontally and 44 deg vertically. Video sticking in Duo 2 is not noticeable despite there are a few pixels which overlap at the centre. However the Duo has higher definition by having an additional 5 fps and also one can see the two views separately. But Duo 2 is the new generation of Duo model and so personally I will opt for the Duo 2. Recall that all suppliers maintain the last generation and give less priority to older generations. But again this depends on your requirements. There is the trackmix too but lower FOV.
@user_626007129198624_626007129198624 In my case it took 13 days for the camera to arrive from Germany. If you have the purchase details email them. You should have a tracking number.
@wrathchild_34 He/she might be a new recruitment. Definitely Reolink greatly appreciate ideas and suggestions and this will be considered too. But there are more features which have higher priority and are being implemented. Thanks for the suggestion. I will take it up with support.
@ashall3n_532259310379259 Is this happening on the NVR application too? I have it on Android but it is a display issue and has no impact on the camera functionality. In fact when check it through Windows client, you will see that the values are correctly set. They should fix it in the next client release.
@clarkjoebob_386998004736156 Glad that the issue has been solved.
@ifmnx4t-reolink_396922279747720 Glad it was solved.
@ifmnx4t-reolink_396922279747720 Do the same or if you have the application running change it from system menu.
@hashemicyrus67_587769099796660 Try to change the boolean value of hardware acceleration to false in file AppData/Roaming/Reolink/userSettings ............... {"key":"hardware-acceleration","type":"boolean","value":false,"_id":"sSr1ypqWhy8wooip"}.
@curls All of my cams are synched to my smartphone and have no issues at all with date_time. As stated the only issue is the erroneous display of the sensitivity slider for Vehicle/Pet. And I receive PMN from both Person and Vehicle (as Pets I do not have). Try to restore one camera and check it again.
