@jleung7_664526975243058 But this is how it works. If you activate DND on the smartphone then the push notifications are ignored (unless you override them per appl.). Push notifications from iphone and iPad are different. Each has a different token from APNS which is forwarded to Reolink message application server. This application server pushed the message for the two tokens to the Apple APNS. The apple APNS has no knowledge that the smartphone has DND activate. So smartphone receives the push message notification and ignores it.
@ron-morgenstern_794924005208288 All you need is a universal 433Mhz wireless controller (from Amazon) with which you can switch on anything such as a strobe/external chime, lights, etc. Have a look at https://www.reddit.com/r/reolinkcam/comments/yzfbqo/modify_reolink_doorbell_to_keep_original_chime_box/
@user_gocamera528 So far nobody was able to hack the protocol used by Reolink. Of course if your friend knows your account username and you enter a simple password 1234 then he will logon and fraud you. But if you don't give him the username (UID) and the password is strong then rest assured that he will spend all his lifetime and won't log in. Activate the option to block user if 3 attempts fail to log on.
@user_833306988003504_833306988003504 This geofencing. So whenever your phone is within your WIFI coverage, it will switch off recording on your cameras. Submit your request to support on support(@)reolink(.)com. The more requests they receive the higher the probability of being implemented. I did submit my request last year. And I suggested if this cannot be implemented then improve the shortcuts to have a schedule and a status.
@ml_812798949916887 Normally when I sent an email to support I get a reply within 48 hours. There was no instance where I had not been answered. Email them again on support(@)reolink(.)com..
@don-gato_805086213865620 Excellent. We try our utmost to assist wherever possible though we are not the product owner....but technically we are quite good :). Enjoy.
@user_813314996531357_813314996531357 Good suggestion. Please submit your request to support on support(@)reolink(.)com
@maz_8193 So if you charge it through the USB and check the charging value, you find it 100%? You are still within the warranty period with Reolink. Send them an email on support(@)reolink(.)com
@denisvandendaele_832654132302042 Please submit request to support on support(@)reolink(.)com.
@don-gato_805086213865620 It is enabled. Can you add the device using the UID shown below the text? What do you get?Ask your brother to download the Android client and tell him to swicth off the WIFI and add the UID of the NVR. If he is able to add it and able to see the NVR then the issue might be between your ISP and the ISP you are connected to.Sorry for being late....too busy here with a number of projects.
@workoholicspam_335979423842535 For your request, I suggest you to email support on support(@)reolink(.)com so that they take note.
@vnmd Try to restore it. By restoring all the paramaters are set to their default value with the exception of WIFI configuration. If you still unable to get it operational then email support on support(@)reolink(.)com
@user_831986059370713_831986059370713 Try to email support on support(@)reolink(.)com. Maybe they will help you on how to source a white doorbell. If you are not in a hurry I will wait for the new one which shall be released shortly. It shall include package detection and have a wider vertical FOV.
@user_832155508748479_832155508748479 All POE and dc powered WIFI Reolink cameras can be managed by the NVR. However, battery operated cameras cannot be managed by the NVR and can ONLY be managed through their clients. Note also that there is no ftp functionality in battery operated cams and the only storage is on the SD and the cloud (against a subscription). But recently they have introduced a hub for the battery operated cams. Still new to me and have no details other than it can have a capacity of 1T (2x512G SD) and can take up to 8 cameras (battery, poe and dc powered).
@nbaaren_391415540195578 As a test try the one you have in your smartphone. Basically all should work provided you have access to the Internet (No M2M), be LTE and have adequate data depending how much you access it and download files.
@lavincent_313544291807444 Kindly submit your request to support on support(@)reolink(.)com. The more requests they have the higher the probability of being implemented.
@rsjmail_345653169406140 But this mainly depends on the mobile operator tariff and I do not think that this concerns any of the cameras suppliers. Try to opt for a 4G router and WIFI cameras. In this way all you need is one SIM.
@user_772567727153399_772567727153399 Use the Windows Reolink client and enable https under networks/advanced/server settings.
@aerofloat-aftercare_831110894997718 On Windows the select all is available
@user_831354871251164_831354871251164 As long as there is data then it should not be an issue. Remove your nano SIM from your smartphone and insert it in the SIM slot of the camera. Then use your Windows client to log onto the camera. Don't forget to get the UID as you need to input it when adding it to the client.Have a look at this link to get an idea of how much data you need. https://support.reolink.com/hc/en-us/articles/360008997773-How-Much-Data-Do-Reolink-4G-Cameras-Need-in-Normal-Usage/
