@user_657449905848424_657449905848424 Good question.@Daisy: Can you answer this please?
@user_726740213256441_726740213256441 I never had any issue to connect to any of my cameras after an upgrade. So from the application point of view there is no issue as otherwise there would be an avalanche of complaints. The issue is normally at transport level which encompasses a number of entities between the cameras and the smartphone ( BB router, any fw rule on the router, upload bandwidth, any restrictions on the ports at ISP, mobile PGW, SGW, etc). From what you wrote you are using a VPN tunnel. So you are connected directly to your VPN server at home and skip any fw rule. Therefore check for any fw rules on the BB router.
@rui-santos_493483414995146 They will solve it as they did for other issues. If I have the source code I already did it :).
@dave_wat_ Just as illustrated below.
@kylimo_837175850053876 what do you mean by pictures? Can you paste a screenshot?
@johnny2064_368119747915946 Agree. We did suggest this in a survey on shortcuts (previously named scene mode). I suggest you to submit your proposals to support on support @ reolink . Com
@workoholicspam_335979423842535 I suggest you to email support on support @ reolink . Com
@rui-santos_493483414995146 I just upgraded the client on one of my smartphones and noticed a degradation in the audio. Seems they added some digital artefacts to make it continuous. I need to do more tests when I get home.
@user_844373869711561_844373869711561 Try yo install Cerberus ftp server on your Win machine. Create a user account and grant all permissions. The ftp server gets an IP from the DHCP of the router...you shall see it on the right hand window.Now go to configuration...protocol and enable update to TLS.From the home camera....enter the ftp ip and credentials of the account you created on ftp server. Once finished do a test from the camera. On the ftp go to logs to see the commands exchanged between camera and ftp server.So this should work for the case when ftp server and cameras are on the same network.Now we need to get it working for local and external networks. We need to use DDNS. You need to get a ddns account from a site of your preference which provides this service....free. then you need to have this added to your ftp server and the camera. This is because the IP assigned to your BB router is dynamic and can change. So here comes the use of DDNS. Here the ftp server will be sending HB packets to the DDNS service to update the source IP.You also need port forwarding on the BB router. You need to forward port 21 traffic to ip of the ftp server...... and I tried to add comments to your questions but site didn't allow me...pity..
@dave_wat Using the Windows client, log on camera and go to network/advance and check that UID is enabled. If this is enabled, are you having this issue when you try to see them all or individually? I guess you don't have any fw rules or using VLANs.
@reolink-daisy Fantastic deals...keep them coming.
@reolink-daisy Apart from higher storage what other features will customers be benefitting from the pro.
@reolink-daisy They showed up from the first game. Kindly take it up with the site programmer to restrict such spams as it is irritating members. There are a number of issues on this site which need to be addressed.I am at reddit too and haven't seen any issue. And the participation is great.
@jamac_843737527755005 On battery cams only on alert you can get a photo through email setup. There is no option to get a photo at regular interval.On dc powered and poe cams it is possible through email and ftp as illustrated in https://support.reolink.com/hc/en-us/articles/900000473166-How-Can-I-Set-the-Camera-Send-out-an-Image-at-Interval/
@nzx resend email. Normally I receive a reply within 48 hours.
@cukeuk_281972491747486 I don't have one and don't have the details either. I suggest you to email support on support @ reolink . Com
@reolink-daisy Already running this for more than 2 weeks. Reported one issue to support to investigate.
@reolink-daisy From what we have seen so far, Spain seems to have a higher probability of winning the Euro 2024. But there might be surprises.
@jleung7_664526975243058 Maybe August/Sept.
@crimp-on_62210811129 I fully agree with you. It seems that there is no technical guy checking the posts and correct bugs in this forum. There were times where I had to rewrite my comment three times as it is not accepted. Even external URLs and email addresses are not accepted. Sometimes even there is restriction on length esp if one includes a photo. This doesn't happen at Reddit and there are a lot of contributors not like here. I do contribute too. There are 2 moderators who test most of the units and so they have the necessary experience to answer queries, 3 super users, Reolinkers, 3 Reolink employees, etc. I mostly reply to queries based on my technical knowledge and the specs of each unit (from their website). I do this in my free time as I am very busy with mega projects.I used to block the IPs but they change it. I told Reolink to change the login procedure. Use 2FA with the code send to the mobile.
