@gregor-k_772823314637054 Take note of its UID from the info menu. Go to the smartphone and switch off WIFI. Run Reolink client and delete this camera. Then add it again using its UID and credentials.
@artech Yes. I have subscribed to be informed when a new fw shall be available ..............but no email from the download center. You need latest Android client.
@user_794428779016324_794428779016324 I suggest you to submit your request on support @ reolink . com (delete spaces)
@gadgetboyatl_388031957971170 submit your request to support.
@user_mhm_789920451715266 All cams accept SD. Ensure you purchase high endurance SD.Poe....means that power and data are on the same cable. Such cameras are connected to POE switch or POE NVR. DC powered cams have a dc power adapter and you need ethernet cable to connect to a switch or NVR.
@user_711725607157890_711725607157890 In the customer's mind there are a lot of possibilities, in the expert mind there are a few
@artech I have no idea. It is their strategy. Mine would be wholly different. I simply suggest and it's up to them what and how to implement.
@rjliii_56525500874 I have this issue when the camera tracks a person and there is a parked car.....so I have person and vehicle detection. I suggest you to email support on support @ reolink . com (delete spaces)
@user_795510933491907_795510933491907 Follow this link to add cam to cloud https://support.reolink.com/hc/en-us/articles/360008584054-How-to-Bind-Reolink-Cameras-to-the-Existing-Cloud-Account/?psafe_param=1&gad_source=1&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIvIGn1rbQhAMV_1FBAh3FuQ_eEAAYASAAEgI2ivD_BwEHowever, your camera is not included in the list of cams which support cloud storage. Check hmere https://cloud.reolink.com
@t-kremin_467672726925488 Are you recording 24x7 and there is total darkness? Do you have IR enable?
@user_794428779016324_794428779016324 There is no export/import features. The only feature which you may use is the shortcuts (previously named scene mode). But this has limitations such as missing schedule, status, minimal settings to change, etc. We have asked for these in a survey abd still awaiting their implementation.
@artech Didn't hear anything. I asked support and was told to check Facebook when it will be released. I am very curious to see how it has been implemented. I asked for it before it will be launched but was denied. Specific testers were chosen. Let's see.
@appleholic_530987916144784 Push notification can be sent from the camera to your iphone (through apple APNS) or from camera to NVR to your iphone (through apple APNS service). There is something wrong either with your smartphone or client. Do you have an Android smartphone and install the Android client? Maybe an older IoS client? I only use Android.
@user_mhm_789920451715266 Check out CX810 which provides full night vision. There is also DUO 3 which has 2x8MP cams and a FOV around 180 degrees. Try to opt for newer cameras.
@user_mhm_789920451715266 At reddit/reolink the moderator has compiled a list of cameras and their specs. It would be easy for you to select which best suits you, such as Field of view, etc.
@ks Yes, that was released on the 7th Aug '23. We are waiting for the new one to test the call out feature.
@jedi2020_32727772450952 It's not on their website. I think they are pushing it through their download servers. You need to have auto upgrade enabled.
@user_mhm_789920451715266 This is based on PIR detection which has limited range (max 10m depends on a number of factors such as temperature, object crossing or approaching FOV, etc). When the PIR detects motion (Change in voltage on adjacent segments) it will run the application which shall determine the type of object, check whether it shall start recording, check whether to send an email or push notification, etc. So if the object passes quickly the camera may miss it. Therefore the best cameras are the poe and dc powered camera which can record 24x7 and able to record before the object is detected. Detection is based on pixel changes and can detect object as far as 100 feet away.
@user_795865570918615_795865570918615 50m is too much for a 20AWG wire as the voltage drop will be high. 10 to 15m shouldn't be an issue but 50m is way too long. Would it be possible to get a mains extension to the location? I have both the E1 OD and E1 OD Pro and would say that they are great with the exception of tracking. Sometimes they won't get to the configured monitor position and so I have to manually correct the guard position. On the E1 OD Pro the frequency of occurrence is less since the camera starts to track when the object reaches the border of the FOV. I have this issue with TrackMix too. Otherwise they are quite good for their price tag.The E1 OD Pro is 8MP and there is no extra feature.
@user_784224808100067_784224808100067 Good to know. That's why I told you whether you have clicked restore which sets all values to their default values. So this is invoking a restore.
