@big_ted Nice to see people participating and sharing their experience. The one who did the list of features provided a roadmap to Reolink for the next 5 years. This is what most of us are looking for.
@chopstix You should get a CX810 or perhaps asking to test out the CX820 which is still not yet available. I have the Argus 4 Pro and during the night the view is quite colourful. The street lighting is adequate. You have some reflection from the wall.
@reolink-daisy Already running this for more than 2 weeks. Reported one issue to support to investigate.
@gajotnt_202336444158149 If you consider a power factor of 1 (ideal scenario) then 30VA == 30W. But the doorbell unit will draw less than 500mA and so if you have 16V then a transformer with 10VA shall suffice. If, however, you intend to have more than 1 doorbell then you need to opt for a higher VA.
@reolink-daisy I did update to 4.47.0.5 from 4.47.0.4 and would say didn't encounter any major issues. What I noticed is that the audio is slightly less clearer and volume is a bit low. As what should be added, I refer to the guy in Reddit who listed what features should be implemented.
@nomahisssss_477125106348271 Maybe this will come with rich message notification.
@reolink-daisy Waiting to see what will be launched.
@autopilot Blue and Brown feed the primary input of the transformer which for UK is 240V. You need to connect the video doorbell power to the secondary output of the transformer (where you have the 2 yellow cables). Ensure that the voltage across the secondary is between 12 and 24V as otherwise the doorbell will not power on.
@big_ted Vertical FOV is too low. People are still opting for DUO 2.
@freddy-fredricksonthe5th_397846696067267 Simply because there were a few requests.
@kimchigun What to expect with 'any motion' enabled! Any change in pixels will trigger a detection. On all my 20s cams I only enable AI detection. FYI there are some issues on playback on the new v4.52 Android client.
@artech Didn't hear anything. I asked support and was told to check Facebook when it will be released. I am very curious to see how it has been implemented. I asked for it before it will be launched but was denied. Specific testers were chosen. Let's see.
@kimchigun Experience is the best teacher and Reolink should learn from these teachers. ha ha ha......
@kimchigun Standalone Floodlights are no longer being produced. Really pity. I got one and happy with its functionality.
@raziackzing_301438517170383 An 8MP cam would need around 12Mbps at 30fps.........and so 100Mbps is more than adequate. So far most cams have 100Mbps ethernet ports.
@user_726740213256441_726740213256441 You see how powerful Wireshark is :). Imagine you are knowledgeable of the protocols used in networking and Telecoms ..... it is fun troubleshooting issues on such mega complicated networks. Enjoy Reolink.
@reolink-daisy TrackMix for sure with improved telescopic lens.
@ebaruk_673045617504343 1. Version Differences:V2: This version introduced remote configuration of chime ringtones, lights, and other settings via the App, and set up different ringtones for various events (such as motion detection, human detection, and visitor alerts).V3: It features a replaced sensor and improved noise reduction algorithm compared with V2.2. How to Identify: The most reliable way is to check the doorbell's label Hardware. If it doesn’t have a hardware version listed, it’s V1; otherwise, it’s V2 or above.3 There is no guarantee that you will receive V3. You need to ask for it when ordering. @Oskar Please add your input to the queries raised.
@ebaruk_673045617504343 You need to ask Reolink. Perhaps email them on support @ reolink . com. I have no knowledge of Reolink's plan. I am a customer like you providing support based on my skills.
