@avperede_213931771191537 From the specs of the POE doorbell, you can see that it can be powered either using POE or 12-24VAC 50/60Hz, 24VDC. For data you can use the ethernet cable.
@reolink-fiona Please include the latest firmware of E1 outdoor in the download centre. Even though there are different hw versions, just add them. How can I know which is the latest version of my E1 outdoor?
@reolink-fiona For battery operated cameras they need your support team to make it available for download, but others can be freely added on the website. Of course if it is known that the firmware is buggy then it should be excluded. This saves requests to support team and even allow customer to restore their cameras quicker. I guess that the software engineers did implement a check of the firmware against the hw before the customer applies the upgrade as otherwise it was cause more issues. The less you off-load the more efficient the customer care will be.
@user_636209684303977_636209684303977 Indeed and it will be enriched with more features.
@gmac71624_538988406644942 Do you have the same SSID for both 2.4 and 5G? Try to have distinct SSIDs. I have Argus 3 pro and it is connected to 5G.
@joseph-chircop_497308027822318 Reolink Administrator..........Please take note. Thanks.
@alessiogian_760987134431472 use the Windows or Android client go to networks/advanced and enable https/http.
@icecoolwrx_610440673022001 You really pushed it hard. If it is sealed then there is no way to extract it back. Easiest way is what you stated, to re-insert another one. You should feel a "click" when the sd card is in deep enough. Follow this link https://support.reolink.com/hc/en-us/articles/360020273853-How-to-Install-Micro-SD-Card-for-Reolink-Cameras?gclid=CjwKCAjw-L-ZBhB4EiwA76YzOYIukrx4rJHW8y2TwWS-WedyPVYauNHirrIcKwIq22IMiwjZD2FwohoCVlQQAvD_BwE.
@m-buchhorn_450363664433286 I have already notified support about these but so far nothing has been changed. As you stated, clear, med and fluent have no actual meaning and they have to be consistent. This is something which won't take time to change. Thanks for pointing it again as I have forgotten to follow it.
@chopstix it will be less. Try it out. Stay in motion.
@user_610825237635130_610825237635130 I had the same issue with another model and once upgraded I set the alarm delay and object size and it didn't appear again. Hopefully they will release it shortly.
@reolink-fiona even links to the docs shall be more than adequate. But at least there is somewhere members can search for.
@kimchigun if the cam doesn't detect motion for about 10s it stops recording. Increasing the PIR will enable motion to be detected a bit farther away and so it continues to record on the same clip.
@user_615408209375314_615408209375314 Hereunder please find the fields I was referring to. Ensure you select all the time under timer. Note that this is available for video and image depends upon your selection. You can also store the file in same directory too.
@ivar_360945041924304 I already furnished most of these to Reolink support. In my opinion their next features should be facial recognition, more optical zooming, more automation, rich notification, more security at camera side and more processing power to enhance performance.
@chopstix Some observations:
@reolink-fiona Please ensure with the team that the firmware will be rigorously tested before being launched to the general public. Recall that members (like Alvaro :)) will be willing to assist in the testing.
@reolink-fiona Would say that with the TrackMix models Reolink has continued to churn out truly innovative security camera products customers have been waiting for. Thumb Up Reolink.
@chopstix Regardless of the chemistry (uh the days where we had to learn all those formulas !!) of the batteries implemented on Reolink bat cams, cold weather will impact their ability to function. Since batteries run on chemical reactions, and as temperatures drop, these reactions are slowed down and increasing the resistance (the electrolyte becomes more viscous and less conductive at low temperatures), limiting the battery’s operating capacity. Even though lithium-ion batteries perform the best in cold temperatures, they still have a safe operating temperature range that should be followed. Additionally, they have a built-in Battery Management System that prevents them from unsafe operating conditions and won’t allow the battery to operate outside the safe temperature range or accept or charge when the internal temperature of the battery drops below 25°F. Reolink states that their batteries should be charged at temperatures between 0°C and 45°C (32-113°F), and do not use the camera if the temperature drops below -10°C(14°F). But this is the engineering threshold which is lower than the design one. It will operate at more extreme temperatures as customers have witnessed. This, of course, reduces life span and performance. Here in Europe it's sunny with temperature reaching 18 degrees Celsius.
@alvaro2 Good. But the problem of the guard point deviation will never be solved. I also noticed that in total darkness the E1 OD is not so sensitive even though the sensitivity is set to high. At day time it's brilliant though. So they need to optimize the detection during total darkness. The integrated IR seems to be inadequate. I can add an external illumination to it but this is not the appropriate solution.
