@mamymam2013_465350299701478 Yes, this is the most stable official Win client available to the general public. I am using the 8.10beta which is still in beta version. Hopefully we shall shortly see the final version.
@quizzical Uh........... again!! Perhaps more issues. Have no idea of what is happening. @fiona Can you please let us know what is happening on the doorbell firmware? It seems to have been pulled out twice in the last 2 days.
@big_ted I do have the TrackMix WIFI model and have upgraded the firmware through the Windows client. I found some issues during testing and were resolved.
@rainman You are right............but there are priorities which Reolink R&D decide which and when a feature/function shall be implemented.
@dylantkline_629871480078705 It has been temporarily pulled out from the download center. Most probably they are finalising the final 'stable' version.
@reolink-fiona 1 or 2 sec should be enough to mitigate triggering upon light switching.
@user_63_633151097208875 I won't think this will ever be entertained. If stored in another external device other than internal SD or cloud then you need to play the files using a 3rd party application.
@john_350143387672724 Maybe the framework behind the 8.10.x is different from that of 8.8.x. Download of large files was fixed in previous beta version as you correctly stated.
@keithsrobertson Excellent. Can you please report it to Reolink support citing your graphic driver version? This seems to be one of the big problems with this client.
@user_63_633151097208875 Just do a search on P2P protocol and you will get an idea of how data flows between the client and the IP camera. Once I did get into details and maybe you can do a search in the community articles. As to enhance security, have a strong password and change it say every 2 months and if you have fw then implement some rules.
@reolink-fiona Now the resolution settings are being stored and retrieved correctly. As for the application starting time, it seems to be the same as the previous version. As stated we are here to support you and before you launch the client.......put it here and we shall test and provide feedback. Thanks for your support and good work.Performance and resource usage is quite good. I left it in the background for around 3 hours and no freeze. But whenever there is an upgrade.......there is always an omission of a feature :)............ No full screen again. Please put it back.
@keithsrobertson Thanks and appreciated.
@mesecr_548618857398516 You can watch live views from Android/IOS smartphones and Window/Mac PC.
@rob_631717169750022 You can download it from the above link and install it. It's safe. I have been running this client for 4 days without any issue.
@user_640589945716798_640589945716798 Kindly note that Reolink cameras support FTP and FTPS. SFTP is not supported. You can use Cerberus FTP server for file transfer using FTPS.
@rainman you need to restore the camera.
@rob_631717169750022 So you have to wait until deployed to your region. So far client seems quite stable.
@adsdslandicas_607820684710066 Argus 3 Pro is a fantastic camera but as I told you you have an issue to watch the video and get an alert that the canera has been triggered. Going on-site and get the camera from a pole, pull out the SD and read it through a PC is absolutely impractical. You need communication and in your case this should be through mobile data. In this scenario Argus 3 pro is not a good option. You need the Reolink GO PT Plus. You may wish to visit the Reolink site and read its description. As for 128GB SD, it's a good choice. You have for at least a month unless it is triggered frequently.
@andrewadventure_658285543473233 Sometimes the answer is in front of us and our CPU is busy processing other prioritised tasks.
