@user_709649956446452_709649956446452 Maybe you are running a Win 32 bit OS. The 8.10.x and 8.11.x are 64bit applications. 8.X.X is a 32 bit application.
@christophe-le-roux-1_677848822186300 Most of the Reolink POE cameras support the IEEE 802.3af standard. According to specs this provides a supply voltage of 44-57V, and supply current of 10-350mA. Max power output is limited to 15.4W. The Reolink POE doorbell consumes around 12W and so you have 3W@48V. See if this is adequate for your device. But I doubt your device can take 48V. It has to be a POE powered device.
@armagh_709620400558321 Between 8 and 12 depending on the stream mode. Check out this link https://support.reolink.com/hc/en-us/articles/360008742233-How-Many-Online-Users-can-Live-View-the-Camera-at-the-Same-Time/
@fuller-vascik_633607742390378 We have already requested this for quite some time. However, they prioritize features in accordance to the requests received. So email support and request it too.Currently this feature is available from some cameras (eg DUO 2) to activate the standalone floodlight.
@brymar_653598905565199 The issue is the DirectX library which they are using in the development of v8.11.0. You need to have the Direct9 libraries. Email support and they will provide or else download it from MS site.
@jm_fort_525559425302685 You're welcome.
@neil_chaplin_is_450076909830276 You're welcome. Note that there is a new Android client 8.38. I just upgraded one of my Android smartphone. Not so much changes. Go to the script just added by Fiona and there is a link to download it.
@reolink-fiona And now we have the 2.4G/5G WIFI selection as depicted below.Personally I would have expected additional features as requested by customers. Any other changes made to the code so we will do more specific tests.
@neil_chaplin_is_450076909830276 The issue I had with 8.10.x was when the PC was on the same network as the cameras. On 8.11.0, this is now fine but if you are accessing the cameras from outside the network to which the cameras are connected to, then the stream mode is always set to DEFAULT when you click on any camera irrespective to what it has been configured before. I think that Reolink had set this to avoid congestion on the bandwidth allocated on the P2P Relay servers provided by AWS/Azure. This is my personal opinion. I can be wrong :). You may email Reolink support for a clarification.
@kristof That's my personal experience on software and most probably they won't be included in the next upgrade. And there are other customers who have the same issues and didn't raise the complaint.
@reolink-fiona Congratulations to ALL the people who in one way or another have contributed to Reolink to improve their products and support.
@kristof This should be through a parameter setting and not a customized firmware. So no more updates or else you need to ask them again to change the firmware. I am against customization.
@user_709123426357433_709123426357433 No problem at all. But as I told you a pcap trace shall reveal the problem but you will be exposing yourself if you attach it here. I still suggest you to email support. Maybe they came across it and have the firmware. And I hope you learnt something too.
@user_709123426357433_709123426357433 So the last hope is to email reolink support l. Maybe they can modify the firmware for you to have native ftp. In my opinion if you selected ftp the camera should not ask for tls. I use cerberus and have no issue.
@user_709123426357433_709123426357433 Just put \ in the remote directory. Use FTP only. Can you capture a pcap trace at Fritzbox? With Wireshark you can see what is really happening if the logs of the Fritzbox are insufficient. This is a wonderful tool which I used it a lot apart from other expensive probes to delve into complex protocols within mega networks. But if you are not an engineer in this sector you might be scared :).Note that despite we set FTP on the camera, the camera sends a request to upgrade the FTP session to TLS and if this is allowed by the FTP server (in Cerberus there is a flag to enable this) then the camera will change to TLSv1.2. If the ftp server restricts this then the camera continues using native FTP. Maybe this is causing an issue on the Fritzbox. Only the pcap can reveal this.use wireshark filter: ftp-data or ftp
@railfan-arizona_4859658263512 Excellent.
@john_350143387672724 I have it on all the cameras. However, I don't have the RLC-820A. It might be solved by installing old directx libraries. Kindly report it to support.
@user_709123426357433_709123426357433 This means that it is not reaching the router when using FTP. A pcap trace will tell. Do you have a setting like upgrade from ftp to tls similar to what is available on Cerberus ftp server? Another test. Install cerberus ftp server (home version) and check both ftp and ftps from camera. You shall see all activities in logging.
