@user_63_633151097208875 This has nothing to do with cloud. When you reset the cam, the configuration will be one with which you have started. If the cam is WIFI, then the WIFI configuration is not reset as otherwise you will lose connectivity.
@user_63_633151097208875 Just restore the camera through the application. If you store the videos on the cloud then they are stored at Amazon secure data storage. They use standard AES algorithm for data transmission encryption, use RSA/ECDHE algorithm for secure key exchange, and follow the TLS standards. When you save footage to Cloud or play clips back, your personal information is always kept confidential from beginning to end.
@user_655553780629612_655553780629612 Depends on your requirements. Visit Reolink website and see what suits you.

@kevin_476142842638551 Good.
@losatlantes_619544468869177 Reboot camera through application. And if you don't want them to re-connect change the credentials before rebooting.
@user_630032533872721_630032533872721 I haven't yet seen it in the roadmap.
@user_655116840280159_655116840280159 Try to contact Reolink support as I cannot reproduce it.
@user_596064874094681_596064874094681 Mostly attributed to the mobile RAN. Can I suggest you something? Pick the one which fails to connect and replace the SIM with that of another operator. Ensure that the 4G reception is good and there are no handovers to HSPDA or 3G as in this case the connection will drop.
@user_63_633151097208875 it just reset the configuration to its default one....the one configured at the factory. Depends on the scenario, data can flow between camera and client (Android, IoS, Windows and Mac), from camera to cloud (saving recorded video, RPN, etc), between camera and NVR, from camera to ftp server (if you opt to store the recorded video onto an ftp server), from camera to SMTP server (email), from camera to reolink message server to Google FCM (push notification) to your smartphone, from camera to Reolink P2P server (to update source IP), and many more.
@user_63_633151097208875 Just do a search on P2P protocol and you will get an idea of how data flows between the client and the IP camera. Once I did get into details and maybe you can do a search in the community articles. As to enhance security, have a strong password and change it say every 2 months and if you have fw then implement some rules.
@user_63_633151097208875 Good to hear that.
@andré-figueiredo The upgrade function on the camera and application hasn't been implemented. Go to the Reolink download center and check the firmware of your camera. If the camera is not in the drop down list, then email Reolink support and quote the HW version of the camera(s).
@eleanar_546053736611980 Just restore the camera.
@andrew_235108831494334 Yes, I have seen some customers asking for ftping and connecting battery operated cams to NVR. Haven't seen any replies from supplier.
@rainman you need to restore the camera.
@bcoe_654087288492080 check out this link https://support.reolink.com/hc/en-us/articles/900000616143-How-to-Cast-Reolink-Camera-s-Live-Streaming-to-TVI suggest you to install the Android reolink client on your smart Android TV and connect to the cameras using the UID. Try it out.
@smarthaus_seb Power requirements is 12Vdc@1.7A, namely, a 12Vdc 24W power adapter. It shall be included with the camera.
@user_623715019411529_623715019411529 I have both the RLC511WA and the E1 OD connected to 5GHz WIFI and never had any issues of disconnections. If you have disconnections that it is surely a WIFI issue. So you have a mesh router and a number of APs configured as mesh. Ensure that 5GHz signal is quite good at each camera and assign different SSID for 2.4G and 5G band and connect the cameras to the 5GHz only. This shall ensure that the camera will always connect to this band. If you still have the issue then connect the cams to the 2.4G band and monitor.Ensure also that you have the latest firmware installed.
