@zane So to download it enter this URL in a browserhttps://home-cdn.reolink.us/files/client/electron-release/reolink_setup_8.15.7.exe
@zane Which was your previous version?See my reply in thread https://community.reolink.com/topic/6925/pc-client-v8-14-0/6?post_id=26768&_=1723971506754
@stevenlavigne50_713244953382940 Unfortunately the shortcuts (aka scene mode) only works on the camera itself rather through the NVR. So to make it work connect the cameras through a switch and then access the cameras directly for the shortcuts.
@dave_wat_ When this happens again, try to restart the router rather than the camera. Are you familiar with Wireshark?
@reolink-daisy Whenever I see members attaching screenshots with UID I immediately inform them to delete or hide the UID. IPs if they are private it's OK.
@mikemcsw_757101218033906 Mike, I didn't even try as I am mostly out of the house. Can you post to the other community at Reddit? There are lots of active members who have integrated with a number of systems.
@reolink-daisy Sorry for late reply. Was away on business.Yes, I am using the latest Windows Reolink client. But as I stated it may be attributed to lower fps and bitrate.
@user_854852369674399_854852369674399 Uh that is very old. Which windows are you running?
@andie-g_825001509949628 Can you revert to previous Android client and check again? To get previous versions....do a search on Reolink Android older version. In the newest version they removed the volume and ear.
@user_854848655810709_854848655810709 If you have the upgraded Lumus 2K, then remove the any motion or other and base your trigger on person, vehicle or animal. Do this under recording and push/email notification.
@reolink-daisy With this newer firmware, the image in clear mode has low contrast/saturation, colours are muted, and the density is light. This may be due to lower fps (from 25 to 20) and lower bitrate (from 8k to 5k). I assume that the optimisation of ONVIF has lowered the definition. Would the dev team consider restoring these values? Moreover before updating, I had full WIFI signal strength and now nothing as depicted below. I also noticed that to access the camera and get to the live view, it is taking around 1.5s more.
@user_800536972923035_800536972923035 I on v8.16.8 and so far I have no issue. I did all the upgrades and only once I had an issue. Just audio and no video. I simply installed the DirectX redist and voila' video was back again.
@reolink-daisy Thanks a lot. I am willing to be one of the testers. If it is based on VOIP then I know every bit of the protocol :). I was an IMS network designer, implementer and tester too :).
@user_854852369674399_854852369674399 try v8.15.6. What was your previous version?
@user_678736611209466_678736611209466 I did the upgrade and agree with your findings. Moreover it is taking a bit longer to get to the live you. I think it is taking around 1.5s more. Most probably I will roll back. Fps has been reduced to 20 and even bitrate. This is the outcome of onvif update.
@user_678736611209466_678736611209466 Can you paste a screenshot? I am away but once I get to my house I will upgrade it.
@panos_gr_836937398329555 I don't use Synology. Come to the Reddit Reolink community and surely there are members who have done it. Post it there.
@kjamaa_648727942344743 Which model?
@tinchotommy_222364008116413 No I haven't any issue. Go to main menu of the client and disable Hardware Decoding First.
@dave_wat_ So there is no firewall rules on the router. You have more than 50Mbps as upload speed on the Broadband router towards the ISP. You stated that the UID is enabled on all the cameras. On the smartphone you are on 4G (not 3G). Can you do the following test? So enable hotspot on your smartphone and connect your PC to the hotspot. Run the Reolink Windows client and see if this is fine.
