@spflmf_288692412260538 According to senior support, this is on their radar and shall be introduced later on.
@user_807191472234693_807191472234693 I suggest you to install FileZilla or Cerberus ftp server on your PC and would try to ftp the picture. At the same time, try to capture a Wireshark trace just in case you want to delve further. There are also logs on Cerberus ftp server. If you try to download a file through the Reolink client, what is the download speed?
@aman_807586969907382 Which model do you have?
@crimp-on_62210811129 Opt for a high endurance SD. I have the Samsung Pro Endurance SDs for a few years and never had any failure. There is also the SanDisk high and max endurance. Check some reviews on both brands before you decide. As you stated some cams are placed in an awkward place and taking them down is a bit painful.
@is220d_166702107853034 Thanks. I have no issue to connect to my cameras using the latest Android(4.44.0.6) and Windows (8.15.6) clients using the UID. Could it be your ISP?
@edward_806894495142073 Try to reset it. Holding the volume for 10shttps://support.reolink.com/hc/en-us/articles/14180082963609-How-to-Reset-Reolink-Chime/#:~:text=Press%20and%20hold%20the%20Volume,reset%2C%20release%20the%20Volume%20button.
@shmulyeng_454944870191346 Check if they are still under warranty.
@user_802748454731991_802748454731991 I don't have this setup. However, I suggest you to post your request in the reddit community. I am sure that they have done this and will support you.
@crimp-on_62210811129 It might be that there is an issue with the SD. If the camera is reachable, I suggest you to extract the SD and insert it in the SD card reader of the PC. Then perform a health check using chkdsk with the switch /f to fix any errors.
@jpinasaez_807526867800295 Try to disable any motion. I have the WIFI Trackmix and I don't receive any false alarms.
@crimp-on_62210811129 After formatting the SD, the camera reboots. The only indication when the last write operation was performed is the timestamp of the last recorded video. Basically one needs a SMART MicroSD and the Linux monitoring tool package. I am not aware of any cam supplier who provides this.
@joseph_1979 This time all cams followed the DST as per selected Zone. So they need to check why the DST had been triggered a week earlier.
@seb_526812765704330 It seems to have been removed. Moreover I am getting mobile data each time I run the client and there is no option to remove its appearance. Will report to support.
@jimbrown-net Yes, it has been removed. I never used it.
@paul_321739826311380 You can determine whether the same P2P servers are being used when using mobile data or WIFI by simply doing a dns query. Install iptools on your Android smartphone. And enter p2p2(@)reolink(dot)com or p2p4(@)reolink(dot)com and write down the IP in the response in the A record. Then switch on WIFI and repeat. Compare the IPs.It could be the protocol. The other brands may be using TCP. Relonk uses UDP when using the P2P servers and there is no retransmission.
@stevenjdearing_401702626328721 Unfortinayeky I don't use IoS. You may contact support on support(@)reolink (dot)com to assist you.
@kimchigun Let's see the behaviour on Sunday morning.
Wishing you all the love and happiness that only Easter can bring. Have a joyous celebration with your family! Enjoy each day and what you need to do, do it today.
@kimchigun Indeed, any signal strength between -67 and -30 dBm is good. Once you dip below -67 or -70 dBm, performance will start to degrade. Below -80 dBm, things probably won't work reliably at all (I saw iphone didn't disconnect at -80 dBm!!).
@sting-versus-wcw I suggest you to request this to the support on support(@)reolink(dot)com
