@user_827429727908048_827429727908048 it's battery operated cam. I deleted the snapshot as it contained the UID which is like your bank account.Ensure you have a strong password.
@reolinkshayla Excellent. More enhanced kinky products. However, please ask your sw dev team to evolve more on the software aspect.
@user_756627276955783_756627276955783 If you are referring to the cloud, then yes it is 8sec if recording is in clear mode. You may store the video on the micro SD.See https://support.reolink.com/hc/en-us/articles/360007808214-Can-I-Adjust-the-Length-of-the-Cloud-Recordings/
@user_792631043424507_792631043424507 I had no problem to pair it. Just follow this procedure.
@big_ted What is the max upload speed and nominal delay on your StarLink? The first member has 12MP cameras and these require at least 15-20 Mbps upload bandwidth. The signal has to reach the satellite and routed back to the mobile/ISP operators and subsequently there is a delay. This might cause some issues in the establishment of communication with the camera. I recall signalling systems C5 and R2 International to communicate via satellites and there used to be extensive delays which sometimes resulted in dropped calls.
@user_827522213122285_827522213122285 They just improved the resolution like what they did for other models such as Argus 3 Pro (2K) and Argus 3 Ultra (4K). Definitely if I shall purchase one I will opt for the highest resolution. But as with all other products don't expect that production will take long.
@ourreolink_821905382830237 Mike, I don't have this setup and so I cannot help. However, I suggest you to put this issue on reddit reolink https://www.reddit.com/r/reolinkcam/ and definitely you will find members having your setup and can help.
@user_827561404055684_827561404055684 No, this is internal to the linux OS and cannot be changed by user. Note that the start time and end time are written as date time. Therefore nothing to worry from your end.RLC511WA-20240410114216-20240410114328
@user_826529980600507_826529980600507 Yes you can and I recommend you to have a junction box to hide the cables unless you are able to hide them into the wall. Ensure that the ends are absolutely sealed as otherwise shall have problems with moisture. I normally use waterproof amalgamated tape.See this link on how turrets are mounted on the wall. https://www.reddit.com/r/reolinkcam/comments/171eb1p/can_i_wall_mount_a_reolink_rlc1224a_with_the/
@user_653336829771814_653336829771814 Go to system and restore it. The WIFI settings are not deleted but all other settings are set to their default value. Then in the recording untag 'others' and base your detections on persons, vehicles and pets. Set them to 60. On the PIR set the sensitivity to max say 98%. This allows it to be triggered at max range (between 9m and 10m). Set the other parameters like push notifications, max recording to 30s, etc. Similarly in email and push notification, see what object you want to be notified. Always untag 'others'.As to access recorded videos, do you have the issue when you are on the same WIFI as the camera? Do you have good WIFI signal strength? Is the camera connected to 2.4G or 5G bands? Is it far away? Are there any obstacles? Install ookla speed test on your mobile and connect the smartphone to the same SSID as the camera and at the location of the camera measure the UPLINK speed. It should be at least 10Mbps.
@user_827429727908048_827429727908048 The BOBG5Q9HDV is battery operated. You have to get the 6W solar to keep the battery charged. There is no port settings on this model. It can only be controlled and watched through their clients. However, BOB4KB6CTB is dc powered camera. In this case you should get the ports settings.Go to the Info and get the HW and SW versions.
@user_805094830948546_805094830948546 It can be linked to other cameras as illustrated in https://support.reolink.com/hc/en-us/articles/10918544226585/And yes, you can manually turn on/off the siren by clicking on its icon.
@user_827429727908048_827429727908048 Is this battery operated TrackMix. If so there is no advanced settings and cannot be connected to any surveillance system other than using their client.
@t-maciek_382830390239374 Didn't heard anything on this most requested feature. We asked for matter and MQTT too.
@user_gocamera528 see if you are capable to decrypt it. You will be the first.
@crimp-on_62210811129 Correct. I have reported this to support for quite some time. This is more noticeable if one enables tracking and there is a stationery car opposite the road. So if there is a person then the stationary car is detected too. So far I didn't see any solution from their side.
@user_823135517094120_823135517094120 Did you enable the UID on the camera? You need to use Windows/Mac clients to enable it. Note that this doesn't apply to battery cam. Which model?
@rodp They use the same Audio codec AAC sampling at 32kHz irrespective of fps. fps reducing the amount of data flow at the expense of poor video quality. In my opinion they need to further enhance their player and to be less resource dependent. You earn reputations by receiving a thumb up or down (cursors near reply) for an answer. Not all customers know this. You just do it because you want to help people based on your knowledge. I do not have any technical docs related to Reolink products but rely on my knowledge I build while attending the universities and the experience I gained in the field (Networking, Telecoms, software development, management, etc). You may ask the admin to see if you can become a moderator. You may need to sit for an interview :)......
@phirephoto_633457091563556 By default the camera gets the IP from the router through DHCP. The same applies for your PC. Once you connect to the WIFI, your PC will be assigned an IP by the router. However, you can assign a static IP to the camera but you need to exclude this from the DHCP assignment.
@user_826435831410838_826435831410838 Ensure that the NVR and the cameras are on the same subnet. It is recommended to have the cameras connected to the NVR through an POE switch(es). This allows you to connect to the cameras directly in the event of a failure of the NVR and that there are features not yet readily available on the NVR.
