@user_765071325302969_765071325302969 Your upload speed is a bit low. Camera starts to forward initial packets over 15Mbps and then stabilises at 8 to 10Mbps (for an 8MP cam). You can see this from the task manager on Windows. Check the WiFi throughput on PC when connecting to the camera. See received bandwidth. Have you tried to view in Fluent mode?
@og These are old NVRs and their hw doesn't support the DUOs models together with the trackmix as detailed in this link.https://support.reolink.com/hc/en-us/articles/900000602543-Hardware-Version-of-Reolink-NVRs/But if you do not intend to add 8M/12M, DUOs and Trackmix and doorbell then keep them till they become faulty.
@user_756125119496374_756125119496374 This setting is only applicable if your recording is based on events (alarm tab). When an object is detected, the camera checks whether it needs to be recorded. If after detection there is no activity for 10s (object no longer in FOV) then it starts the post recording timer.Normally max post recording timer is 1 min.
@user_756125119496374_756125119496374 yes as explained by above member. However you may need to record persons passing by but not alerted by push notification. In this case you need to tag persons under record/schedule. Avoid tagging motion as you will get a lot of useless recordings.
@email_525317533946102 Just one, the Reolink battery Trackmix plus 4G with big solar panel.I have the Argus 3 Pro and Ultra together with DUO 2 battery model and I untag motion detection. Only AI as otherwise I will receive an avalanche of false alarms.
@user_765071325302969_765071325302969 It's the upload speed which is important. Camera is streaming towards your mobile. and if you set the stream to Fluent, would you have the same issue?Which models you have installed?
@user_765071325302969_765071325302969 If there is no issue to access the cameras when being on the home WIFI then the issue seems to be on your broadband bandwidth. What is your upload speed to the ISP?
@ebaruk_673045617504343 Yes, no layer 2. But the switch should remove the VLAN tagging and so it should work.
@dierickxjo_265418933010621 Are the cameras connected on different VLANs or subnets from your PC connection? Try to ping the camera. You can restart the camera from the Android client.
@jim_511091434688640 Just untag the 'Any Motion' under push notification/schedule as illustrated below.
@email_525317533946102 I suggest you to email your request on support(@)reolink(dot)com.
@jucki35_360281193910485 I am not aware that you can disable it. I saw members that their problem was a location issue. I guess you checked that you have the recent fw installed. You can check it out from their Download Center. You may as support if they can send you a fw with the focus disabled. Email them on support(@)reolink(dot)com.
@andrea-di-monaco_662769044119635 I suggest you to submit your complaint to support(@)reolink(dot)com. I don't use IoS.
@user_756125119496374_756125119496374 Yes you can. Just tag only the visitor box as illustrated below under Push Notification/Schedule menu.
@user_703793344291048_703793344291048 Try to use object size and add another second.
@ebaruk_673045617504343 I have no idea. I am a customer like you. You may submit your query to their support on support(@)reolink(dot)com They are using a number of old modules.
@user_767343257399498_767343257399498 From the API doc issued in 2023, there is no API which enables/disables particular detection type. Only recording can be disabled/enabled as illustrated below.curl -s -k -X POST -H "Content-Type : application/json" -d "[{\"cmd\":\"SetRecV20\",\"action\":0,\"param\":{\"Rec\":{\"channel\":0,\"enable\":#SWITCH#}}}]" "https://#IP#/cgi-bin/api.cgi?user=#username#&password=#password#"In the command, Change #SWITCH# by 0 to disable (or 1 to enable) the Record surveillance mode
@thetransplant Have a look at https://www.reddit.com/r/reolinkcam/comments/1aljqai/reolink_desktop_mac_app_not_showing_wifi_cameras/Ensure you have the latest mac Reolink client. You may check at their Download Center.
@user_800906771439824_800906771439824 This has been requested too. FTPS is easier to implement than SFTP. But as you stated 99.9% of the devices with FTP feature support SFTP. We are in 2024 not 1990s.
@user_803260535316688_803260535316688 I have already emailed support and explained how it should work. It should be based on VOIP or XMPP similar to what has been implemented by their competitors.
