The feature, as well as the firmware you are using now, is still under a beta testing stage. Also, sliding the threshold may also result in a slight improvement to the black & white and color switching, which may make the improvement unnoticeable to you. You may try to slide the threshold again and try if it can deliver the most ideal black & white and color switching for you.

To post an image in the reply, you need to save the image to your local file first and click the image upload button in the tool bar to upload an image.

Hi @magor3_294514674884796, you may click the down arrow symbol and choose the second V3.0.0.247. You may find the firmware for the E1 Zoom camera with hardware version IPC_515SD6 then. Hope this helps.

Hello @loreebee_245386096251077, yes, you can disable the spotlight at the camera settings. Path is Camera Settings->Advanced->Spotlight->Night Mode->Off. Hope this helps.

Hi @mbzt_424281994174717, we have added some UI improvements to the live view and playback page. Also, we have fixed issues with FTP, NVR channel and display settings. Version 8.4.2 is not a major update from ver 8.4.0.

Hi @peras20587_470271805305056, you may find the latest firmware for RLC-410W here, https://reolink.com/download-center/. After you enter the Download Center, click on WiFi Security Cameras and scroll down to find RLC-410W camera.


Next, click on Firmware and you will see there are three RLC-410W available.



Click on the three options respectively and find the one with the corresponding hardware version to yours. Scroll down to click Download Firmware. Hope this helps.

Hi @liam_93721152131241, are you referring to the Brightness & Shadow settings or anything else? These settings allow you to adjust the image quality and make the images look more usable to you. Adjustments to these settings won't affect the camera to record in color or black & white. If you are referring to another setting, let me know.

Hi @liam_93721152131241, with "Auto" enabled in Day & Night mode, the camera will detect the light with its sensor and decide whether to capture in color or in black & white. Simply, the camera may change recording in color or black & white when the environment is bright or dim.

A workaround is to add an additional light source next to the camera. By doing so, you are allowing the camera to record under a well-lit environment and make it possible for the camera to capture images in color or black & white when the light is on or off. Hope this helps.
