For the Cameras would be good if Reolink could offer a backup battery that could sit between the pain power line in and the camera as a backup mode. Even if gave only 30mins to 1hr backup would be handy incase of someone flicking the power off or short outages. Would be a good add on. Wouldnt have thought to complex to do?
@reolink_243949053128894 Not sure if yours is different or not available, but there is a drop down option to switch date to previous year.
@newt89_621533770530900 smaller file would be fluent (low quality) and the larger file would be clear (higher quality) recordings
@user_642953612914768_642953612914768 and what is your issue?
@leohiga39_331795653021878 Common problem at the moment. First thing to do is disable hardware decoding and ensure app and firmware up to date. There maybe other fixes if you search as its a common problem on Windows 11
@роберт-аветисян_276781623177455 Are you able to provide some more information? Are the cameras not showing in the app or are just not connecting? Are you on the same network or trying via mobile data?what cameras are you using?
@user_640943064383547_640943064383547 Specs say up to 128gb is fine.https://reolink.com/product/reolink-go-pt-plus/#specifications
Hey,Recommendation for the firmware update list, it would also be good for a most recently added file list. It is slow to keep checking regularly when you have a lot of different types of cameras via the current search menu. The drop down menu search is good, but just a most recent added list also available. Thanks in advance.
@reolink-fiona Can say that for anyone looking for a versatile battery camera, this one is fantastic. I have positioned in a high traffic area of cars, people and dogs and have had no issueswith battery life from the supplied panel.highly recommend to anyone!!!
@profigriller_284489721987246 The RLC-811a has a newer v3.1.0.989 firmware available. It may fix that issue if you havent seen it yet.
@alfelix_215183236268235 it is common on a lot of PC's that hardware decoding needs to be switched off in settingsthis should fix the issue.otherwise update your graphics card driver and/or video codecs
@user_594027275649135_594027275649135 is your camera recording to a sd-card in the camera? Also what firmware version is the camera running?
@daz_58170128017 I am assuming you dont mean in live view mode?In playback mode it should keep playing until there is no more recorded clips to play, then it will show the play button as there would be no more recorded clips to play
@steve_633688619757629 make sure you have the correct codecs installed on your computer. Ive found the K-lite pack good for most uses.codecguide dot comSome people have also had success with disabling hardware acceleration in edge itselfGo to Settings/System and uncheck "Use hardware acceleration when available" and click "restart" (the edge browser).
@tpmartel_244897408610479 potentially could be due to cost of warehousing and processing of the orders- Amazon orders are usally managed by amazon as apposed to reolink having to process the orders themselves. other than that I wouldnt know but have noticed that constantly
Night time photo with a few obstructions. Almost totally dark. Works well. Ptz is pretty smooth. Will do video when I get a chance.*photo is a screenshot in android app.
Have just setup a new E1 indoor camera. From unboxing to fully setup was less than a few minutes. Just open the app, select add camera and scan the qr code. Literally connected straight to wifi, no hassle. Windows client auto recognised the device on the network and just needed the correct username and password to connect. Will do some video tests to see how it performs with animals running around the house.Photos from unboxing below.
@kurkure_342734695047304 I am assuming you have disabled hardware decoding?
@reolink-fiona ah ok. That explains it. My bad lol
