@lafunamor This is only available on the NVR and the HHP. Not yet available on the application itself.
@kimchigun Could be. Did you report it?
@mooglestiltzkin_394766309384342 Being a novice to security that's the way forward. However, I would opt for an NVR rather than a HHP. Higher capacity and at least a 1G eth port. HHP has 100M eth port and this poses limitation on the number of concurrent streams. If you have eight 12M cams then you have already reached the limit. Personally they should have released the HHP with a 1G eth port. He might opt to use third party applications like Frigate, BI, etc provided that the cameras can stream in ONVIF (which batteries cannot provide unless connected to the HHP).
@user_933469458169984_933469458169984 Opt for Altas PT ultra but ensure they provide the 12W solar panel. It offers continuous recording and auto tracking. Have a look at the comparison Excel workbook created by moderator at reddit. https://www.reddit.com/r/reolinkcam/comments/z6caqk/reolink_specs_comparison_charts/
@rainman Never heard this whistling on any of my Reolink cameras or came across someone complaining of similar noise. I suggest you to open a ticket with support. If you cover the mic with a tape, would you still hear the same sound? Did you try to reset the camera?
@user_732475412443337_732475412443337 Agree. Have been requested by a number of customers.
@lafunamor They are using embedded Linux BusyBox and it's not that easy. But I tend to agree to have it on HHP and NVR together with a SIP client.
@chopstix I only use 24h and so I didn't come across it. Report it to support so they will correct it.
@user_903893703344339_903893703344339 Before I connected the cams, they were running as standalone with the timezone modified according. Then I connected them to the HHP and all cameras changed their time correctly. I didn't see any similar complaint here or on Reddit.
@lafunamor I don't recall any vendor doing this. You need to setup a vpn server at home and use a vpn client to access all your devices at home.
@kev_57257967492 I suggest you to open a ticket with Reolink through support@ reolink.com
@kimchigun Agree. But don't be surprised.
@mamymam2013_465350299701478 uh... I was replying to another member and didn't know I clicked your reply. Lapsus. I did delete it. Don't worry.
@øyvind_902856519671964 Unfortunately this cannot be fulfilled as all detection objects share a common scheduler.
@kimchigun IPC_NT15NA416MP (Hw version 1) is the newest Duo 3 POE. Maybe you have the first generation DUO 3 POE IPC_NT13NA416MP (Hw version 1). The last fw released was for the NT15. Better you ask support about this.
@mamymam2013_465350299701478 I can fully understand your frustration. I do not think that this can be corrected by a fw upgrade but entails for a new WIFI chip. I have an E1 OD Pro and Argus 4 Pro which use a new WIFI chipset (WIFI 6) and they do show the correct signal strength.
@crimp-on_62210811129 Note that HDR is software dependent and subsequently can be added. However, WDR is hardware dependent and cannot be added after product is released.
@reolink-oskar This is what the customers want to have. More ease of integration. That's why we tell you to listen to your esteem customers who have more experience. Thanks to StarkillerOG who did a good job. I met him at Reddit.
@mamymam2013_465350299701478 Keep fighting for your rights. We, European, have different mentality. I have an i7 but did notice an increase in CPU usage at no visual improvements.
@rwsmith_458368852840619 It's a backup. If the HHP HDD becomes faulty (or the HHP itself becomes faulty or they stole the HHP) then you can still access the recordings on the SDs. This is what I have. SDs, HHP and I do ftp the files onto a remote FTP server.
