@ergomanservices_704492722979564 I would connect all to the RLN36 and use the external alarm to trigger your security system. Once again ensure that what is provided from the RLN36 is compatible with the input of your security system. So get the specs of the triggering method on your security system and ask Reolink support if this is compatible with the RLN36. Ensure yourself that the RLN36 fits your purpose.Unfortunately the methods (IFTTT to external devices, MQTT, Matter, HTTP request, etc) I mentioned are not yet available on Reolink units.
@reolinkshayla I still have the Argus 2 and they are still working without any issue. From 1080p to 12MP in just 5 years. Who knows where we will be in 5 years time!!
@issom Great. So it's available in the US. In Europe we are still in the 'WAIT' state :).
@james-jenner_683177101791235 They are sealed. I have never seen any LED floodlight with the LEDs chip replaceable.
@drealine_329342379503810 I suggest you to submit your request on https://support.reolink.com/requests/
@ergomanservices_704492722979564 Depends on the features available on the security system you have? RLN16 (NVR) has no external I/P and O/P triggers. These are only available on the RLN36. Check methods of interfacing on your security system.
@user_721020970066170_721020970066170 I presume you have checked with the download center to ensure you have the latest fw for all entities. Unfortunately I don't have this setup and can't assist. So I kindly submit your request on https://support.reolink.com/requests/
@sam-de-andrade_521565391970471 Currently the cloud service provided by Reolink doesn't allow scheduled recording for person/vehicle/pet/any motion. So each time it is triggered (even outside configured schedule) it will be forwarded to the cloud)I have seen other members requesting this feature. Kindly submit your request to https://support.reolink.com/requests/
@john_737493699104979 I suggest you to submit your request to support on https://support.reolink.com/requests/
@user_737985620697256_737985620697256 Which model?
@lornarees69_706032712241691 I did revert to v8.12.1 as the icons disappeared when I upgraded to beta v8.13.0
@yursbarngrill_202827611205782 Being a network engineer you would be able to capture a trace on both the PC running the Reolink client and on the network to which one of the NVR is connected to. Since you are on a different network from the NVRs then the flow of the media has to go through P2P Relay servers mostly provided by Azure/AWS. You shall see DNS for the P2P servers and then the client makes requests to each P2P (except some which point to the loopback IP) for each NVR (since your client is connected to the NVRs). Here the client receives a public IP on the P2P server and so a connection is established between the NVR and the P2P server and between the P2P server and your PC running the client. Can you check whether you receive any UDP packets? You may also try to use DDNS on the NVR and connect using the NOIP domain rather than using the UID (and hence the P2P relay server). I am using the v8.12.1 and have no issues to connect from work.
@crimp-on_62210811129 So only in Asia :). Previously we used to get a link to their google drive and voila'. This feature will reveal the accuracy of the AI detection algorithm. Let's see.
@jacklambert Check with support whether there have been any newer firmware for both cameras. I read somewhere about such issues and I think a firmware has been provided to the customer.I did upgrade to v8.13.0 but found issues and reverted back to v8.12.1.
@user_736098558853348_736098558853348 Not yet available in Europe. Still waiting to test it out.
@james-jenner_683177101791235 Have requested this several times. Hoping one day this will be implemented.Appreciate if you too submit a request on https://support.reolink.com/requests/
@slippinjimmy But if not compatible then they should provide a timeframe when this shall be made available. I can understand your frustration as I am a customer like you and wish certain things are handled better. One thing to remind you is that the Reolink doorbell (till today), it only sends a push message notification to alert of a visitor. It doesn't originate a call. They are trying to have a different tone but having lots of push message notification or you are in a noisy environment this is inadequate. I have requested a SIP call similar to what other suppliers have implemented.
@ag_7034 Can you select the 2.4G WIFI band and try again? Maybe the 5G WIFI signal is not strong enough at the location of the camera. Do the test with the smartphone connected to the home WIFI to which the camera is connected to.
@railfan-arizona_485965826351268 I think this has to do with the connectivity between the cameras and the P2P Relay servers serving the cameras in Arizona and New Mexico. The cameras send HB packets (every 5 or 10 min....need to check the trace) to the P2P servers to update their private and public IP. If there is a request from the Client, the P2P server connects to the camera and to the PC on which the client is running. If the camera changes IP then the P2P server cannot connect to the new IP until a new HB packet is received. Can you check whether there is a change in the public IP of the BroadBand router to which the camera is connected to?The fact that there is no issue with California cam, then it does exclude issues with the client. And you confirmed this by trying the scenario on most 32bit and 64bit clients. This can be solved by having a Wireshark trace at the egress of the Broadband router at Arizona and New Mexico. Here we shall see if the request comes from the P2P server and if there is a change in the IP. Do you have a different setup at these two locations? Any firewall? Any congestions on the uplink? By default the stream selected is Fluent and so requiring the least bandwidth. Try to set one of the cameras with the lowest bit rate, resolution and fps for the fluent. Just to check. You may choose to connect to the camera using DDNS and avoid the P2P servers. Of course you need to disable UID on the camera and enable DDNS. You can use NOIP DDNS service which is free. To configure DDNS on Reolink camera follow this link https://www.reddit.com/r/reolinkcam/comments/12qg79l/ddns_and_port_forwarding_to_connect_to_reolink/
@reolinkshayla Noted. Its availability might take some days in Europe.
