@john_359114089328787 Yes you can. Check this link https://support.reolink.com/hc/en-us/articles/360012466173-All-Reolink-Client-Versions/
@user_695001177313467_695001177313467 Of course the PC has to be on all the time similar to recording using the Reolink PC client. In Cerberus you can share the files and set a expiration date after which the files are automatically deleted. Alternatively you can have a service running in the background which shall delete files after say x days (in Linux 'cron job' and in Windows 'scheduled task'). It's fairly easy to set up.I have never used Netgear router but once I read that you can plug in a USB and use the embedded ftp functionality. You can either use DDNS or the IP of the router. If the IP of the router is not static (ISP can assign any IP to you router after the leased expires) then better to opt for DDNS. It is easy to remember. However, you need to re-schedule manual deletion of files on the USB.NOTE: FTP is not secured and the credentials are sent in plain text. SFTP is not supported by Reolink. Only FTP and FTPS are supported on their cameras. So on the router apply a FW rule to restrict port 21 from outside.
@dwdrum_518877324853453 Can you tell me which version of Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable package you have? If not then install this https://aka.ms/vs/17/release/vc_redist.x86.exe and re-run Reolink client again.
@user_695001177313467_695001177313467 There is no file override when the folder holding the recorded videos reaches the configured size. However you can send an alert when the configured remaining space has been reached. As for the ftp, install cerberus free ftp server on your PC and configure ftp or ftps on your cameras. Should be fairly easy.
@billing_392289715716327 Can you please let me know the model of cameras you tested out? I never tested out that scenario. Thanks.
@perkins-tony_647500713214819 So you use the same SSID for both 2.4G and 5G. In this case not possible. I told them to add the feature to force camera to connect to either 2.4G or 5G but so far not implemented. How did you power the doorbell? Using the transformer or supplied power adapter. I am thinking of power interruption considering that there was no light. Can you recheck the power terminals?
@user_694815223382207_694815223382207 Excellent. I notified the senior support manager.
@kevin-marchant_394632396636406 Your requests have already been requested by a number of customers including myself. We have requested that the doorbell does a VOIP call to our smartphone similar to what other brands have. We have also requested to have distinct notification sound for each camera.Currently the doorbell has a single notification function covering both detection type. Kindly send a request to support on https://support.reolink.com/hc/en-us/requests/new/Their priority is based on the number of requests per requested feature.
@mamymam2013_465350299701478 Kindly send a request to Reolink on https://support.reolink.com/hc/en-us/requests/new/
@mamymam2013_465350299701478 Well there were lot of requests from customers requesting other sounds and they have implemented it.
@user_695001177313467_695001177313467 You should record to the PC HD. Check this link https://support.reolink.com/hc/en-us/articles/360003593554-How-to-Record-to-PC-New-Client-/You may opt to use ftp and let the camera ftp the recording to a remote ftp server (excluding battery operated cams).
@mamymam2013_465350299701478 Default setting for the application is spaceline. However, I have the possibility to select from a list of custom and galaxy sound. I don't have the S20 Ultra. Managgia quanto ha piovuto!!
@mamymam2013_465350299701478 So yours is Android?
@user_694948938956947_694948938956947 Try to email support and see if they can order you one. When I got out my WIFI DUO 2 from the box and considering its weight and bulkiness I was expecting an aluminum support. In fact when it is windy (force 7) I see that the camera shakes a bit. Even the nut of its solar panel.......it shouldn't be plastic. It broke and I replaced it with a stainless one.
@user_694948938956947_694948938956947 What is the stream resolution on the one shown on 8.10.4? On the live view window do a right click and set it to clear.
@mamymam2013_465350299701478 I am away from my cameras and cannot check. Can you try to change it by clicking on Notification Category under Reolink client...go to sound and select another sound and trigger the camera?
@tomselbyuk_331910860959874 Just drag the camera out of the Live view window and drag its device name back to Live view.
@mamymam2013_465350299701478 Oh....This should be under Notification Category....and the sound is application provided. Yes I recall that the user was able to change it through the application main menu.
@mamymam2013_465350299701478 Check out this link https://support.reolink.com/hc/en-us/articles/360021343034-How-to-Enable-Push-Sound-on-Android-Phones/
@jp_303544246644872 I fully agree and I did a similar request in the past. I will inform them again. It would be appreciated if you make a feature request at https://support.reolink.com/hc/en-us/requests/new/
