@user_645880601444421_645880601444421 You can find the IR illuminator from Amazon and other sellers. If you add the external IR make sure you disable the one on the camera. However, before you proceed with the procurement of the IR illuminator I suggest you to email Reolink support to check that you have the latest firmware. Question: Does the spot light switch on when there is a detection during the night?
@rhinoxxx08_313845774270615 Please email Reolink support to check whether there is any newer firmware. Include your hardware version in your email.
@bocephus_371391602962608 Note that rapid detection of a PIR occurs when walking across the detection area since multiple sectors are crossed and subsequently trigger the PIR. Walking towards the sensing area of a PIR detector may result in later detection (or sometimes none at all) as it is possible to walk towards the PIR sectors without crossing them. They also have a range of the IR detection and this is impacted by many factors including temperature.
@reolink-fiona Any estimated date?
@145-sebago-lake-dr_621769916605064 Check out the layout included in the box. Ensure that if you purchase a junction box, it shall be waterproof >= IP55.
@jean-lauzier_533659106885825 The first suggestion has already been proposed to Reolink and as you stated it doesn't make sense to have another application to watch videos stored on a remote drive. As for the second suggestion, kindly have a look at this URL https://support.reolink.com/hc/en-us/articles/360026049414-What-is-Scene-Mode-and-How-to-Set-the-Scene-Mode-for-Your-Cameras-on-Reolink-App?gclid=CjwKCAiAuOieBhAIEiwAgjCvcqvFVvjuDbUCZFx5CTnxx9XhRi17Xy8JfYihvhDUJR6kP8Vs3EvrlBoCDYwQAvD_BwEThis is only available on Android client and should be extended to the other clients.
@user_596064874094681_596064874094681 Thanks for the update. Keep monitoring. I assume that they are in the same area. Even when your mobile is on a table it can change routing areas .
@user_596064874094681_596064874094681 Yeah, mobile CS and PS signalling is complex especially when coupled with VOLTE which requires IMS. Reset means that a new data session has been established and Reolink P2P servers were provided with the IP of your camera. When you run the Android Reolink application, it will query these P2P servers (around 8 around the world) and get the IP of the camera. Then the application will establish communication directly with the camera using this IP. Note that the IP of the camera changes since the operator will not allow the data session between their core and the SIM to be more than 12 hours........and so the mobile has to re-establish this data session. If this is not established say due to reception issue then the P2P server will not be updated with the new IP. However, the application will be trying to establish with the old IP. The fact that sometimes they reconnect I see that this is a mobile radio access network (RAN) issue in that area. To determine this one has to do tracings at the mobile operator side which you will never get unless you are responsible of the operator mobile network :). If it is a camera issue (and two) then you won't ever connect. Before I would have ordered two SIMs, I would have swapped the SIMs between the failed camera and the one which never failed. Of course ensure that the radio criteria is identical at both locations or place the failed camera near the one which never failed but with SIM swapped.
@joseph-chircop_497308027822318 Indeed. They need to close the gap on a number of functionalities. But they know their priorities.
@user_655455179530328_655455179530328 Unfortunately so far it is based on the directional arrows. But this is a good point and I will raise it with support.
@rainman If you want to have full access to the files then remove the SD from the camera and insert it in the SD slot of the computer. Otherwise you have read permission from the clients.
@meteone_635033864044546 Sfortunamente no.
@víťa_333862578258143 Depends on your requirements and budget. Always opt for a recent AI model which shall allow you to tune the detection and the type of object. And if it shall be placed in dark areas, then spotlight is recommended unless you want to have an external IR illuminator. The one integrated with the camera may not suffice or may cause reflection.
@ginny IPC_51316M is the RLC-420 which is no longer in production. This has been replaced by RLC-520A.
@platinum_jello_528733688770693 I didn't say do nothing. I pointed out that this needs re-engineering of the existing hardware and software. Currently you need to grant access to someone who trusts.
@user_596064874094681_596064874094681 The mobile module integrated in the camera constantly measures the power level of the mobile signal and if it is lower than a threshold, it shall request either an intra-lte handover (change to another eNodeB) or an inter-rat handover to the MME (change from 4G to 3G). If you want the details and signalling flow I can provide :). This is mobile packet switching.
@user_649339778838597_649339778838597 Apologise. I thought the independent floodlight. Yes, the DUO floodlight unit should have audio.
@user_650010211049534_650010211049534 I had an issue with IR and it was not being activated because there was a low wattage bulb which was restricted the camera sensor from activated the IR. Then contact the Reolink support who shall assist you in your issue.
@user_653223226212358_653223226212358 According to the Reolink download Centre that's the most stable firmware. However, I suggest you to email Reolink support (global one) and ask if there is any newer version. Moreover, can you check whether the IR is activated and that the spotlight is triggered? If none of these then there is adequate light and thus may result in low resolution. You may consider to add an external IR illuminator.I have Trackmix, RLC 511WA, E1 OD and Zoom and have no such issue.
@user_649339778838597_649339778838597 Audio is not available on floodlight. ! means unavailable. It has only siren. Well Reolink need to fix the Windows client by removing functions which are not implemented on Floodlight.
