@user_655116840280159_655116840280159 That's history now...
@lkageyama_369620850163942 Increase person to 55 and delay 1s and vehicle 50 and delay 1s. How far is the camera from the object? Before returning it I suggest you to email Reolink to provide you with an improved firmware. A bit of patience.Cam should be less than 3m height and facing detection zone.
@reolinkfan123 Brilliant idea. For a perfect smooth finish use spray to avoid brush lines. With 6 bucks you did a feast!
@lkageyama_369620850163942 Sure. I have a DUO 2 WIFI and have no such issues. However, I have upgraded the firmware and maybe this is what is required from your end. Can you email Reolink support to check that you have the most recent firmware? Just include the hardware version. They will answer you within 2 working days.
@lkageyama_369620850163942 You need to tune it....start with these values and increment.
@user_655116840280159_655116840280159 Thanks for the update. Appreciated. It's absolutely difficult to have an application which works across all old, new and future platforms. Would you be able to upgrade the Android version of the tablet to say 12?
@user_655116840280159_655116840280159 Excellent. Will definitely be appreciated by the members.
@ermaconsolini_619748074721328 If running on Linux it shouldn't be more than a 5 min job. Yes, email Reolink support first. They should answer you within 2 working days. And if there is a newer firmware it is fairly easy to upgrade. Come here and we will help you.
@chuck_529633235447953 Reset is totally different from reboot/restart. Reboot/restart doesn’t change any configuration on your cam/nvr while reset/restore will change the configuration to its default (factory) setting.
@ermaconsolini_619748074721328 I have these options on various cams older than the DUO but have a newer firmware. So I suggest you to email Reolink support and check if your firmware is the latest. Include the hw version in your email. If these options are not available then write a simple one line bash script (find /myfolder -mmin +5 -exec rm -f {} \;) and add it to the crontab (assuming Linux).
@user_653179371208819_653179371208819 This can be traced in two ways. Firstly each GSM module has a unique identification called IMEI (like the MAC address of the Ethernet interface) and this is requested by the MSCs for calls or MME for data sessions and this value is populated in the XDR (data record) for each call or data session. This is available at the mobile operator and if this is reported to the Police they should ask the operators to find out whether someone is using this IMEI. How they get to know.........from the inserted SIM................having IMSI and MSISDN (the number). Mobile operators have what is known as EIR (Equipment Identity Register) where blacklisted IMEI are entered and each UE is checked against this database each time it is attached to the network. And secondly the camera has a unique UID and so this may be blocked at the camera supplier side (if they provide this service). They also have the IP which is assigned to this UID and again one can find who has this IP :).And if you are interested in the mobile signalling flow I can help you :).
@user_653179371208819_653179371208819 Both wired and wireless have smart AI detection.
@ermaconsolini_619748074721328 Maybe you have an old firmware. Get this from the device Info.
@lkageyama_369620850163942 Nothing works as expected from the instant an entity is switched on. You need to tune the settings available. For a start try to set sensitivity of person to 40, vehicle to 50 and pet to 42 and set the alarm delays as 2,1, 2. If you still have alerts then set the min and max size of the objects for each detection type.
@reolink-fiona Finally. This is a must have product which should make customers life easier. Well Done.
@hafizuddinjafriddin1993ump_626057361449220 It seems to be on the latest firmware which dates 12th Jan. Try to contact Reolink support about this issue as I don't have this NVR. As for the Windows client crashes, try to disable HW acceleration by editing the file C:\user\<yourusername>\AppData\Roaming\reolink\userSettings. Replace true with false in the line {"key":"hardware-acceleration","type":"boolean","value":true,"_id":"XXXXXXXXXX"}
@ermaconsolini_619748074721328 Try to upload to the same filename. In the FTP configuration, select 'close' under Generate subfolder by and 'overwrite single file' under Video/image. If the ftp server is running on Linux then write a simple script to delete such old files and call it from cron.
@user_645880601444421_645880601444421 I have updated from 8.10beta and that's what I observed. The preset works fine but there is no picture. So these issues arise when someone upgrades from 8.10beta.
@reolink-fiona Thanks for the update. I had a quick glimpse and noted the following.
Update: These seem to arise when upgrading from 8.10beta.
@user_653223226212358_653223226212358 You see. I was confident that your firmware was quite old. Then enjoy and let us know if you need further clarifications. Occasionally email support to see if there is a firmware update. Sometimes the download center site is not updated.
