@t-schuetz_411175990739138 The spotlight will be on when it detects the motion/person/vehicle/pet. You can check if the spotlight is on when it records the alarm video. You can also try not to set the object size.

@larga001_491622561255646 You can try to check if you have set the motion zone/object size/alarm delay to filter some motions. You can test the camera in the day again. If it still fails to detect the person/vehicle, you can try to give your alarm settings(motion detection zone, sensitivity, alarm delay, object size) and your detected environment to our support team for a further check. @gregvx80_481744243163367 Hi there, now we can't upgrade the camera under the NVR on the Client now. If you want to upgrade the camera in the Client, you can try to add the camera under the PoE switch which is under the same router of the NVR. Then you can add the camera to the Client as a standalone camera as well as add it under the NVR. In this situation, you can upgrade the firmware for the standalone camera on the Client.
@burkm_172321696190677 Thank you for your feedback on the issues.For the Black & White settings, we check that the settings of the camera will be synchronized on the Desktop Client and Web. Can you try to reaccess the camera via the Web and check?

@sean-k I will forward your request to our team for further improvement. Thank you!
@burkm_172321696190677 For the sensitivity, in some range like 1-15, the sensitivity may not make too many differences, so the image will not change. You can see the differences in the image when you change the value on a large scale. For the Display/stream menu, when you click the default button, all the settings will come back to default. Do you mean that you would like to write the indicator like (default) besides the number?
@robin-thevenet_300768852820175 Glad to hear that!
@ourhalfdzn_493664171921643 Reolink POE cameras support T-568B connectors and CAT5, CAT6, CAT7 with 8 PIN Ethernet cables. The maximum length the camera supported is 80 meters (about 262 feet). You can try to use the switch to connect the camera and the NVR if it is too far from the NVR and the camera. This is the guide for how to connect the PoE switch, router, and NVR. https://support.reolink.com/hc/en-us/articles/900000537406-How-to-Connect-PoE-Switch-Router-and-PoE-NVR.You may need to connect the monitor to the NVR with the HDMI cable. After installation, you can also connect the NVR to the app/Client for remote viewing.
