@user_896044068634806_896044068634806 Sometimes condensation inside the lens is an issue right after installation. Usually it clears up after a few days, but if it doesn't it probably means that camera has damaged seal. In that case one has to open a ticket with support and they will replace it.
@grod777_275772032561320 There is no overwrite. You need to create a batch file to delete old files and use a scheduler to run it at your specific times. Normally the Windows client is not meant to record 24x7. Hereunder a member named Crimp has included his batch file.
@user_678736611209466_678736611209466 Yes, previous version supports WIFI 5.
@user_678736611209466_678736611209466 There is a newer fw which sorts out issues related to network services. I did the upgrade and so far no issues.
@user_863565958742183_863565958742183 there is the stiching adjustment.
@user_678736611209466_678736611209466 Could be. Any feedback on wifi signal strength on TrackMix?
@jylppy_633508802445327 It's not possible and nobody asked for. However, you may submit your request to support on support @ reolink . com for consideration.
@colin-grimshaw_430254205366491 You might consider to add an IR illuminator.
@reolink-oskar Who knows what will be launched?
@reolink-oskar This should have been upgraded with F1.0 aperture and higher FOV esp the vertical one.
@user_894987651154111_894987651154111 Battery cams from Reolink have a proprietary protocol and subsequently you need their client to manage and watch. Install WINE on your Ubuntu PC and ran their Windows client with WINE.You may also install VLC on Linux. I recall someone did it in https://www.reddit.com/r/reolinkcam/comments/1fq4cdb/reolink_on_linux_sort_of_vlc_workaround/
@user_809262480933115_809262480933115 Appreciated. We are here to assist wherever possible. My suggestions or ideas could be your solution. I am a customer like you but have a vast knowledge and experience in networking, Telecom and software development. We have been asking for webhook since day one and they should deploy it on most of the cameras. I have asked for fully fletched IFTTT (not everyone uses HA), matter or MQTT. They have good cameras but they should improve both their fw and clients.
@user_746479291687074_746479291687074 The Client broadcasts a packet with payload aaaa0000 using destination addresses 255.255.255.255.255 and 192.168.1.255 (or your configured IP subnet). Now 255.255. 255.255 is the limited broadcast address which is only propagated within the single subnet of the interface that sent it. It is never routed to other subnets unlike the subnet directed broadcast address 192.168. 1.255 which may be routed from elsewhere, depending on router configuration. Most ISP routers won't allow this. Check yours.
@user_657472400732223_657472400732223 Reolink has to implement it. I am a customer. Once there is a SIP client then you can connect to any VOIP operator through a subscription unless Reolink can provide this service. Wyze and Arlo provide their own VOIP.As for distinct ringtone, we have been asking Reolink to implement this but so far the only distinct ringtone is when pressing the button the the doorbell. We have asked different ringtone for object type and and even camera. All I can suggest is to submit your request to support on support @ reolink . com. The more requests they receive the higher the probability of being implemented.
@user_809262480933115_809262480933115 I suggest you to email support on support @ reolink . com . I do not think the dev team read what we write here. Never seen any feedback from them.
@travasaurus_893442009145504 I fully agree with you. I do work with a lot of massive systems and the system log can be cleared if and when required by the admin. Just a few lines of coding. We suggest and it's up to them to evaluate whether it can implemented or not.
The camera will not call but will send push message notification. Yes it can send the push message to more than one smartphone. From their application installed on their smartphones they have to enable push notification on the camera too. Ensure that application can process notification. Check notifications menu in the smartphone.
