@kristof That's what I would have told you to do since it was happening on both WIFI and Cellular. You know what you could have done to prove this. Enable hotspot on your smartphone and connect your PC to the smartphone and use the client on the PC.
@crimp-on_62210811129 Even if you assign static IP, the camera still sends the DHCP requests.
@user_748115440787586_748115440787586 I already told support to ping the gateway IP to check router reachability rather than using DHCP. As a senior technical architect I won't opt for DHCP.
@big_ted Correct. This is NOW.
@smarthaus_seb 100 people most probably 100 opinion. Indeed I would have certainly included the transformer in the floodlight housing and all that should be required is the mains connectivity. This is what is being done on all the LED floodlights operating internally at low voltage. Maybe there is something that we are not seeing........perhaps an issue in the dc adapter could be a dc adapter replacement rather than the whole unit.
@michqian_709966285914469 WIFI 5 is more than adequate unless the customer has a multitude of WIFI 5 devices connected to the network. I have both the Trackmix and the E1 OD pro. They both perform well but the Trackmix offers the Telephoto lens which allows the user to have a closeup of the detected object. E1 OD Pro is 8MP while TM is 5MP. But the resolution is quick clear. However, they both seem to have an issue. Sometimes they lose the monitor position and one has to manually adjust it again. This, of course, depends on the frequency the camera tracks the objects and if the object moves forth and back.
@pierre-gielen_288801745879289 Definitely sending emails from the camera directly. A lot of members did implement this until Reolink comes with a finite solution :(. FTP just transfer the file to an ftp server. So you need an application to go through the file and detect the object which triggered the detection and send this to your smartphone. For sure it will take much longer. If I recall correctly your application won't start analysing until file transfer has been completed and this implies minutes. So you will definitely stay with pushover.Nothing to lose to experiment with FTP. This is fun........... at least when I do troubleshooting on mega systems it's fun. IMS/Mobile/Fixed/LI/Networking etc
@user_766265856774278_766265856774278 Did get any update for this. A lot of members are asking for,
@user_688471996944537_688471996944537 So far there is no way to export and import cams configuration. We have asked Reolink To provide this feature. Yes, if you are viewing from an external network, the default resolution is FLUENT. So if you set it to CLEAR and go and watch another cam and return back, the resolution will be the default one. This is because the media goes through 3rd party (AWS and Azure) and they pay for bandwidth. This is P2P through a proxy.Try to use DDNS.
@user_746623229407444_746623229407444 Check out this link https://www.reddit.com/r/reolinkcam/comments/xfepdf/diy_rich_notification_for_your_cameras_pushover/
@reolinkshayla This is fantastic. Keep it up.However, we need to see more cameras emerging with large F1,0 aperture and larger dual CMOS 1/1,8-inch sensor. Forget the F2.0 aperture and 1/2,8-inch sensor. And at 8MP they will be super.
@pierre-gielen_288801745879289 Try to use pushover
@bill-doria Are you connected to the same network to which the NVR/cams are connected to or you are trying to connect from another network? Your PC should not experience any freeze unless you have background programs which have higher priority than Reolink client. From task manager see CPU and WIFI performance
@user_681852094591212_681852094591212 I did request this to support and suggest you to submit your request too.
@user_694227756134544_694227756134544 Take note of the UID of the NVR. Delete it from the Windows client (click on the NVR in left hand window) and add it again.
@raygoldstein5_307154471190675 I suggest you to submit your request to Reolink support.
@bfeliciano_416958891729142 Good.
@bfeliciano_416958891729142 It's the application and not the camera. No more stretching for 5MP.
