Hi @reoolink_437826628354193, to make the camera record 24/7 to the NVR and use the motion and timelapse function on the SD card simultaneously, you will need to add a PoE injector or PoE switch between the camera and the NVR. By doing so, you will be able to save all the videos to the NVR and enjoy the timelapse feature. Hope this helps.
@ryan-wilson_497604971466948 Hi Ryan, thank you for the suggestion. Now the re-order feature is available in the latest updates in the desktop client and mobile app. Click here to learn more, https://community.reolink.com/topic/2850/reolinkers-week-day-5-reolink-client-version-8-7-beta-app-version-4-29-release
@tomcrean Hi Tom, thank you for the suggestion. I will forward your ideas to our team and see if it is possible to add this feature to the app.
Hi @zentao29_497016336400517, thank you for the feedback. Our team would like to take a further look into the issue. Please submit a request here, https://support.reolink.com/hc/en-us/requests/new. Our team will get back to you asap.
@ccmchurch_500522135650508 Thank you for sharing your opinion with us and I will definitely forward your ideas to our team.In terms of the patrol speed settings, it is currently not available in the mobile app. We will see if it is possible to add it to the phone app in a future update.
Hi @xii153_256851590066306, thank you for reaching out. You may offer the current username and password to the new owner and ask them to set up another password for the system. With the password changed, you won't be able to access the system anymore. And don't forget to delete the NVR from the device list on your mobile app and desktop client. Hope this helps.
@bilsue85_501601524068533 You are very welcome. With the smart detection feature, you will be able to customize the recording and alerts to the events that you care about only. Also, you will receive fewer false alarms caused by wind, shadow, or other background movements. Let us know if you have any questions.
Hi @ple_499748832202987, there is no firmware for an entire system. You will need to upgrade the NVR and the 812A cameras with the latest firmware respectively. Hope this helps.
@bilsue85_501601524068533 The RLK16-410B8 comes with 8 5MP non-smart cameras. Meanwhile, the RLK16-810B8-A comes with 8 4K smart cameras. The latter offers much clear image quality and smart person/vehicle detection.
Hi @t-maciek_382830390239374, we do plan to make it support smart person, vehicle, and pet detection with a future update. Stay tuned!
Hi @bilsue85_501601524068533, welcome to the community! You may take a look at RLK16-810AB8-A, a 16-channel NVR security system with 8 4K PoE cameras. You can run CAT6 cables up to 262 feet/80 meters around your home. To enable remote access, you will need to make sure that the NVR works on a stable network connection. Also, you can set up a recording schedule on the system. Hi @gerhard_501162179805422, thank you for the suggestion. That feature may require facial recognition in the camera to recognize familiar and friendly faces to you. However, we don't plan to add a facial recognition feature to our cameras soon. There is no way to make that works now. If there are any updates, we will let you know.
Hi @geofale, I am sorry that you cannot change the codec of the mainstream to H.264 now. And we don't plan to release a firmware update to allow users to select the code as well.At this moment, you may select sub-stream and the camera codec will be changed to H.264. Hope this helps.
@joseph-chircop_497308027822318 Thank you for the suggestion, Joseph. I will forward it to our dev team and see how to improve the performance of the FTP upload.
@jasonfish_70655499070 This is because we have not enabled the auto firmware upgrade via the mobile app or desktop client yet. You will need to download the firmware from Download Center and upgrade your camera.
@jasonfish_70655499070 Hi Jason, thank you for the feedback. We have included a 5-second pre-record video by default to each FTP uploaded file. However, due to the possible upload delays caused by the FTP server, it may result in a reduced pre-record video length to only 1 to 3 seconds. If the FTP servers take long to respond to the upload, the 5s pre-order videos may fail to upload. Also, recording to an SD card or to an FTP server is not the same case. Saving files to an SD card requires no network connection while recording to an FTP server requires a stable network connection. And that's why you may find two versions of the same event. Hope this clarifies.
@nickm_495538090946719 Which camera model do you have? The new firmware is for the cameras with a smart detection feature only. If you are using smart cameras, click here to learn more about how to find the latest firmware for your cameras, https://community.reolink.com/topic/2602/how-to-find-latest-firmware-for-reolink-camera-nvr.Let us know if you have any questions.

@gsxr38_333329020608742 Thank you for the feedback. I am afraid that our mobile app is not 100% compatible with an Android Auto system. Our team will take a further look into the issue and see if we can get it fixed in a future update. Big thanks for your feedback again.
